SPRING FAIR: New launches for Hunter Price, including Giddy Kipper craft sets and Sunset Bay Club dolls

After a two-year build-up, Hunter Price will return to the Spring Fair at Birmingham’s NEC next week, to unveil its “most exciting toy and craft collections to date”.

A host of new brands will be launched at the show, including Eco Planet Pals, a collection of plush characters and creatures that are all made from recycled plastic bottles. One million bottles have already been re-used to create the debut Eco Planet Pals collection.

Little Timbers is set to make a big impact, as it launches with a series of wooden puzzles, vehicles, building blocks, stackers and playsets. Catering for children from birth up to four years old, the brand aims to encourage creative and sensory play.

Sunset Bay Club will be the newest doll brand on the block and Hunter Price will reveal its plans to develop this inclusive and community-led brand, which embodies kindness, fun and adventure.

Following the rise in popularity of craft, the business will also launch its new craft brand, Giddy Kipper (pictured). The premium crafting kits will appeal to the more experienced crafter, offering the consumer added value. Each kit will be either multi-use, educational or can be kept as a special keepsake.

After selling over 10 million fidget toys in the past 12 months under its ToyMania brand, Hunter Price has continued to evolve its market offering in this sector. The 2022 ranges, which will be debuted at Spring Fair, will focus on sensory and ASMR.

In addition, Hunter Price will also reveal a series of re-brands, which include MotorMania, SplashMania and CraftMania.

In 2021, Hunter Price expanded its licensed offering, signing CoComelon and In The Night Garden, as well as distribution deals with Bildo for Peppa Pig and Canenco, on a range of Disney craft. Products from these ranges will be on the Hunter Price stand, which is situated in Hall 1.

Richard Belford, sales director at Hunter Price, explains: “As you can tell from our Spring Fair lineup, we’ve been incredibly busy developing a series of new additions to add more value to the Hunter Price toy and craft portfolio.

“In addition, we’ve strengthened the breadth and depth of each category and given a number of our existing brands a new look for 2022. We’re also investing heavily in packaging innovation as we move towards plastic-free packaging across all brands so we’ll be showcasing many new concepts next week.

“It’s my first Spring Fair with Hunter Price and I’m hugely proud of the whole team for creating an amazing show to kick off the year.”

Hunter Price will be exhibiting at Spring Fair from 6–9 February at NEC Birmingham, Hall 1, stand B20-C21.
